Catching the Wind

This is a very bright colourful painting of kite surfers, distant yachts, and Summer ocean colours. Inspired by watching them on my afternoon walks this painting has been developed over quite some time from Ipad memory sketches and many hours spent studying the colours of the sea, sky, sand and beach strata of rocks, pebbles and seaweed . An estuary leads the eye into the painting and hopefully the more the viewer looks, the more is seen in the detail of the clouds, waves, and distant land across the water . The painting is ready to hang on your wall and the painting continues round the sides so framing is optional. It will be sent with masses of bubble wrap and cardboard, safely packaged like many others I have despatched.
