Although Castle Crag is not one of the highest fells in the Lake District, it is one of the finest with amazing views from the top down Borrowdale towards Derwent Water and Keswick. This is looking from the other direction near Grange. I walk in the Lakes a lot and wanted to capture the wildness of the district. I've used both brushes and palette knife on this canvas so there is some texture. It's acrylic on canvas, varnished and comes framed in a contemporary white deep edge frame so it's ready to hang. It measures 32cm x 43cm x 3cm. I've signed the back and it will be sent with a signed certificate of authenticity but please let me know if you'd like it signed on the front and I'll be happy to do so.
