Three Postage Stamp Images -This tribute to Roy Lichtenstein began life as one single piece - that of the right hand canvas 'Double Barrel' BRAT. However having seen the scale of the whole triptych at Tate Modern in 2013 I felt I had devalued the power of his argument by limiting the design to a single canvas. Therefore I proceeded to work on two more canvases to complete the triptych. Each canvas is 4 ft x 3 ft - total height 4 ft -total width 9 ft 6 in (with two recommended 3 in gaps). The finished work consists of approximately 8000 used postage stamps. The canvases are varnished plus UV protection but should not be hung in direct sunlight.
