Blue Ocean Quest
Blue Ocean Quest is a large blue oil painting of an underwater seascape with three fish swimming along in sparkling water. It is 48x48x1.5 inches. The three fish are in the middle of the painting and are moving together against a deep blue background. You can see the blue go from deep blue to cerulean through to turquoise as you look up towards the sky and there are plenty of sparkling captured droplets of light in the rippling waves. Beneath the fish are the electric light patterns that flicker along the sandy sea bed cast by the sunlight in the waves. The fish are based on queen angel fish but have evolved a little magically to scatter sparks as they swim. They have been painting in thick paint to make them more 3D and using some gold paint to make them shimmer. This is an energetic painting as the fish and light and waves are all in motion. It is however still a peaceful and happy painting. The fish are on a quest and it is a good one. Painted on deep edge canvas, white edges, not frame needed, ready to hang.
