Elizabeth worked as a senior interior designer for a large London West End Interior Design company. During this time she produced water colours providing visuals for clients; many of whom kept them to frame. Part of her job was also producing architectural drawings.
In 1999 having discovered oil paints, she decided to 'bite the bullet' and take up her brushes full time! She has been painting happily ever since, both in her London studio and in her home in Spain. Her success has been through both group and solo exhibitions and through art fairs where she has sold numerous paintings to clients from across Europe.
One of the high points of her career, thus far, was to be selected by The SHASHOUA Foundation to be part of their exhibition, last shown in Cork Street London in late 2011. This private collection continues to be exhibited globally.
Last year she was short listed to be included in The Royal Society of Marine Artists Exhibition, which takes place in the highly prestigious Mall Galleries, Pall Mall, London. But, Elizabeth produces more than just seascapes.
Whilst her style is traditional enough to satisfy those who are somewhat sceptical of “Modern Art”, her painterly technique is exciting enough to attract a satisfying level of sales. Her reputation, justifiably, continues to grow.
The exhibition is open every day until October 4th.
