(Fairgrounds by night collection) is a impressionistic painting of Blackpool tower and the golden Mile at night, I loved going to fairgrounds as a child and was amazed by all the flashing lights and rides. painted using Acrylic and Ink using the croquis method to allow the characters to emerge from the paint. Urban, cityscape, landscape, coated with varnish for protection.

see it for miles around

See the lights and sights

Kiss me quick hats

Some pratts And cats

Theres Tat on tap

Yeah theres arcade machines, Slot machines,

2p pushers, and grab machines

Makin dreams

Theres stars and bars

on the golden mile

Take a donkey ride on the tide

And Let the stress subside

Build sand castles

Have a dip in the sea
