It seems to be true that tea tastes better from good china! I like to collect pretty china cups and saucers and they make great painting subjects. I don't like to paint photographically, so it's fun to find a way of depicting the delicate designs in a loose way. This is painted on canvas board so it will need to be framed first before hanging on the wall.
