Bastille Day in St. Tropez, on 14th July, is a traditional yet festive day, with flags and brass bands, soldiers marching, everyone in 18thc. costume, the colors of red, white and blue abound. I have placed the scene back in 1789, showing "Freedom leading the People". On the near right side, is depicted the famous "Procope" Coffee House, of Paris, 327 years old, reputed to be one of the oldest cafes in the world, on the left, see Madame Dufarge, knitting the names of all those who were beheaded at the Guillotine, during the French Revolution, into an endless scarf!! (rDickens Novel: A Tale of Two Cities). Search, and the more you will see. Hopefully, this Narrative work will keep revealing its secrets. Print Run of only 10 in total. This Print is No: 1/10
