Painted from the pilgrim's causeway to Holy Island looking towards the Bamburgh. It's 30x30'' oil on canvas.
Before I started this painting, I found that I the tide was coming in rapidly
and so I had to make for the refuge platform which, fortunately, wasn't far away. I spent several hours there, contemplating the sky, clouds and their reflections in the wet sand until the tide subsided. This is the view from there. Ah, the joys of plein-air painting!

See attached newspaper article.

To save on commission (you don't want to pay commission on the frame) and postage, I'll selling it unframed. It's painted round the edge and D-rings and string are attached so it looks fine as it is, and it is ready to hang. It will, however, look even better in a good frame. It's a standard size so you should be able to buy a ready-made frame quite cheaply.
