I found this piece of (fake) fur and it reminded me of those leopards pulling the carriage of Bacchus in Titian's painting hanging in the National Gallery. In it, Ariadne despairs of having lost her lover, Theseus, but is having her head turned by the advances of Bacchus, with his wild antics and music and wine. She is dressed in a blue robe, with a white undergarment and a red shawl. So here they are, suggested in a more contemporary setting . . .
