Autumn Jumble

Autumn Jumble is an acrylic, oil pastel and mixed media painting inspired by the landscape which surrounds my home and the wonderful colours of autumn. Although the colours are somewhat exaggerated, it is how I perceived the landscape and how it coloured my emotions. The painting measures 24 inches by 20 inches (61 cm x 51 cm) and is an acrylic painting with mixed media consisting of bits of wallpaper, feathers, sequins, glitter and French newspaper stencils for the houses, the church and one of the trees. It is in a naive form, is uplifting and cheery. Just the tonic for a winter's day! The painting continues around the edges and is ready for hanging. It will be despatched with a Certificate of Authenticity and a tracking number. "Winter Solstice" (my latest painting) is very similar, but slightly different.
