I am a full time artist working in oil, pastel, acrylic, oil pastel and watercolour. I am an elected member of the Hilliard Society and the Society of Limners, both highly respected societies for painters of miniatures. I have exhibited at the annual exhibition of the Royal Society of Miniaturists, and have had a miniature accepted into the Royal Academy summer exhibition.. I recently won the award for the best wildlife painting at the Society of Limners Summer Exhibition. I also paint larger pictures, and these include landscapes and wildlife. That's the formal bit! basically I just love to paint and am fortunate to have a lovely studio in my garden and live in a beautiful part of the world. I suppose I do not have a real style that is my own because I use so many different media and subjects, and just love unusual commissions that give me a challenge.
