I have been a creative soul for as long as I can remember. I had the opportunity to study art full time as a mature student at the Cyprus College of Art and attended the college from 2004-2007. Whilst attending college I was able to indulge my creative side and explore a variety of artistic and creative pursuits. I decided that it was painting that I loved the most and what I still love doing today. I adore colour, texture and pattern and paint in a range of media including acrylics, watercolour, inks, collage and mixed media. I find inspiration for my work all around me but I paint mostly from imagination. Painting fulfils my creative energies and my mind is always buzzing with ideas for paintings many more than I could ever physically paint. Painting is a compulsion for me, therapeutic and challenging at the same time. I become completely involved in the process and I am unaware of the passing of time. I have exhibited in Cyprus and the UK and my work is held in private collections within the UK, Europe, USA and Australia. A really beautiful painting. Lovely texture and light. Has been snaffled by my 23 year olddaughter for her bedroom. Have asked Tracy to paint something similar in raspberry and lime for my bedroom.
