I have always had a keen interest in art and won a place at Berkshire College of Art and Design in Maidenhead, Berkshire in the UK. When I moved to SW France I was taught by a professional Limoges porcelain painter in Toulouse for a period of 2 years. In 2011 an artist friend introduced me to watercolour painting and another one to acrylic painting. Acrylic painting is my favourite medium as I enjoy the versatility of the paint and textures that can be created. I now live Marseillan in the Herault (Languedoc Roussillon) in the South of France with my husband. In October 2018, I won first prize in an international art competition with Madlabs and Tarboureich in Marseillan, Occitanie with my mixed media painting “Marseillan Port, 2068.” I consider some of my pieces of work to be "wall therapy" for their vibrancy of colour and uplifting qualities. I have sold paintings to customers in the USA, Australia, France, Spain, Portugal and the UK. I am happy to take on commissions. Please contact for further information.
