My art is my livelihood , passion , and main interest since childhood. After 5 years of art and teacher training, I made a living by painting portraits for several years and then developed a range of over 200 scenes of Southern Britain which were printed and sold by myself. Alongside this work I did commissions, portraits of people and animals and also imaginative paintings in oils and pastels. I have had several pastel paintings exhibited in the Mall Galleries. Solo exhibition in London, and worked for the National Portrait Association painting portraits in pastels or oils, in the Public and Prep schools countrywide. I had my own gallery in Cookham near Maidenhead, Berkshire for 8 years, where I sold mainly my own artwork and some other artists original paintings. I developed a range of 55 London scenes which were printed and which I used to sell in London, some used in the backdrops of popular television series. . I have sold paintings world wide on the web, and journeyed to Africa to paint portraits. I then developed a range of tropical seascape from imagination as I spent a childhood in Africa. After closing the gallery in 2000 I moved to the isle of Wight to paint acrylic seascapes of the beautiful coastline here where I live near the beach. I have exhibited in the Malvern Theatres Galleries. I have a touring exhibition at present. I have started a new theme based on childhood mempories of tropical rainforest jungle. I paint mostly seascapes inspired by the colours of the seasons of the coast where I live ...
