Born in London. Painting and drawing has been a passion and part of her life from an early age, alongside her working career as a legal executive assistant and family life, she spent years practising constantly learning new techniques, mediums painting on paper and canvas with continuous focus on new ideas always evolving, learning and growing creativity, with much inspiration from 19th Century art and the Orientalist Movement. Ms Lawrence loves the journey of creating a new piece of artwork. Once she gets a new inspirational idea for a new piece she feels passionate to start and create the work. In line with her professional career, painting is sporadic, Ms Lawrence is not a full-time artist. When painting, she likes to work with rich vibrant colours and loves creating and producing new lavish orientalism style scenes resulting in an opulence of rich layered tapestries of people, life, landscape, cityscape and seascapes. She paints to please her audience and historically has mainly generated small works. Her preferred style is Orientalism. She loves to travel collecting photographic material for fresh ideas. She has sold successfully during her painting years and sold her works worldwide.
