I am a Barnsley based Artist/Illustrator represented by Graham Cameron Illustration (GCI). I have created a variety of illustrations for many educational book publishers. Along side this I attend two Life drawing groups where I study the human form. I also paint landscapes, abstracts and do a lot of printmaking ( collagraph, lino and drypoint etching). My work is mainly figurative working directly from the model. I deal primarily with empathy in my paintings and I try to evoke mood and atmosphere by my use of line, colour and texture, sometimes going in and out of focus, flitting from one thought to another.
