I am a self taught artist trying to realise my dream, one drawing at a time. I have a love of drawing with graphite. I have been drawing for many years now and over the past 10 years built a reputation for myself for my portrait drawings and am recognised for my distinctive and original series "Their Fragile World" A lot of my art is based around the series "Their Fragile World". This is a series of drawings showing animals and wildlife in or around glass. This is to symbolise how fragile the world around us all is, but also just how beautiful and magical it can also be. As a child I was told I was colour blind, so all of my confidence in dealing with anything relating to colours disappeared. Hence, as I loved drawing, I played safe and turned to graphite as my main form of drawing, believing the neutral colours would hide my inability to distinguish colours. As it turns out, that was the making of my art and can look back now at the disappointment I felt then with a lot of satisfaction of how it developed me into the artist I am today. I exhibit my art extensively throughout the year, mostly at exhibitions around Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex.
