Paul Berriff is a fine art photographer and documentary film maker. Winner of two BAFTA's and 17 international awards. Paul was Director of Photography, Cinematographer and Producer on Werner Herzog's award winning Lessons of Darkness. Paul received an OBE in the Queen's 90th Birthday Honours list. Paul has recently released a comprehensive unique collection of legendary rock stars he photographed in the 1960's while training has a press photographer at the age of 16. The Beatles Hidden Gallery limited edition collection is a unique series of 39 photographs of The Beatles on their first and second tours of the UK in 1963 and 1964. The collection has been exhibited in Carnegie Hall New York, San Francisco, Rock & Roll Museum Memphis, Museum of Music Prague, Harvey Nichols Dubai and the Menier Gallery London. His latest exhibition was at Salts Mill, Bradford, David Hockney's home showcase centre. Paul's photographs have been purchased by a member of the Beatles family, world leading rock stars, collectors and a top museum in the States. The photographs are also on permanent exhibition at The Beatles Story in Liverpool. The CEO said "These photographs of The Beatles are the best I've ever seen of the group at this early time in their career". Among Paul Berriff's other unique black & white photographs are Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Roy Orbison, Pink Floyd, The Kinks, The Hollies, Marianne Faithful. The Searchers, Graham Nash, Freddie Garrity and the Dave Clark Five.
