Hello World! I have started to paint my colourful shapes in 2000 and I never stopped. I have shown my paintings in many solo exhibitions as well as group ones. Some of those are now part of private collections. It is very complicated to talk about themselves, specially on art, so I love to leave it to Eulisse, a Venitian painter who has gave me his poetic thought about my art during an exhibition in Venice: "The painter Marco Baschirotto faces the canvas straight off, creating chromatic labyrinths where marks and colours invent new paths, which are not abstract because they link to landscapes and metropolis, so when you look at the painting you are tempted to leave your daily life to venture and step into a journey, edgy and romantic at the same time."
