Following a further education in art, Kerry has worked as a full-time artist for just over the last 11 years and her works are becoming increasingly in demand and sought after. She works from her home based studio in Skipton, North Yorkshire. Specialising in modern, affordable, contemporary canvas paintings, Kerry particularly loves to experiment with different textures. She also tends to use metallic tones in her work as finds it fascinating how these reflect the light and change the painting somehow throughout different times of the day. Kerry loves the calming effect of water and the sea. She loves to paint abstract seascapes with textured metallics. Every one turns out differently and is individual and original. She also loves to paint other abstracts and likes art where the eye can read as little or as much into it as is wanted and this is what she tries to create. Some of her works can be quite subtle, calming, uncomplicated and minimalistic, & Kerry believes this is her calm nature coming through in her paintings. She is quite overwhelmed with the demand and feedback she has received from customers. A lot of her work is carried out for customers on a commission basis, so feel free to ask her to create an individual canvas painting just for you! Simply enquire with the size, colours and design you have in mind! She works with a lot of Interior Designers creating paintings for show homes and other high spec properties. She often gets a lot of requests to create huge canvases, which she absolutely loves to paint with a passion! Career: To date, Kerry has sold a lot of paintings direct and online as well as through some local shops, galleries and art exhibitions. Kerry has featured in HomeStyle magazine and most recently on TV when she donated some works that will feature in BBCs DIY SOS programme. Exhibitions; Kerry is currently exhibiting at the Devonshire Brasserie, Bolton Abbey, Skipton, North Yorkshire. She has previously exhibited at the Cavendish Pavillion, Bolton Abbey too.

Delighted with my purchase, my first experience of buying art online was a positive one.
My concern with buying online was with colours being misrepresented and this was justified - I thought this painting had a beige tone and had no idea that the top and bottom areas of the canvas were unpainted! Fortunately, the actual colours (very white and very silver) suit my purpose better than they would if it had been as expected, so a happy ending, but I would be cautious with any future p

What can I say... Well obviously the site itself is easy to navigate, has a coherent enough UI and provides more information than I would have expected about each artist and so on.
Ordering was easy-peasy, so no problems there and my fears that delivery might be an issue - because I ordered some works as gifts, so not to my home address and couldn't guarantee someone would be there to receive the orders - were totally without warrant. In short: I think the service is excellent,

Absolutely perfect. Uplift was chosen specifically to match the position and decor of a specific room. The colours and textures produce a stunning sheen in different light and this is a piece that pulls the entire room together. Based on Uplift I think we'll be buying more of Kerrys paintings.
