    The main influences in my painting are my fascination with gardening and flowers and my love of Cornwall, particularly the coast, where I grew up . Recently I've started painting cities that I've visited and which have inspired me. I love painting and tend to lose myself in my work; all sense of time goes, and I'm left with the sensory experience of colour and texture. The use of colour is a continuing theme in my work. I'm also continuously experimenting with different techniques to move my work forward. I have been lucky enough to sell my paintings to buyers all over the world - as well as the UK - and get a thrill each time I pack up an artwork to send to its new home.
