A landscape and wildlife artist living in Cheshire. specialising in original and unique works of art in a contemporary style. Influenced by the natural world with it's endless variety of shapes,forms and floral patterns. The wonderful colours and different aspects of nature influence and inspire my art. My favourite medium is acrylic paint due to the fast drying quality of this media,as I like to paint prolifically. The captivating beauty and awe-inspiring landscapes that I have seen or imagined and the amazing animal kingdom have enabled painting to become a great passion of mine. I have developed an experimental, semi-abstract style which is sometimes impressionistic and occasionally I like to paint a more detailed piece of artwork which a more photorealistic style such as a cityscape. I am influenced by a variety of artists such as the Impressionists like Claude Monet and post Impressionists like Vincent Van Gogh. I enjoy being creative and painting is a way to express myself and develop further as an artist. I studied design and this has also been influential with the compositions of my paintings, inspiring creativity from the patterns in the paintings of artists such as Gustav klimt and Wassily kandinsky I believe my paintings are affordable and come in various sizes, they are either painted on canvas or framed paintings on a good quality paper. As I grow in confidence as an artist and i feel ready to showcase my large collection of original artwork, painting is a joy and there is rarely a day that goes by when I don't paint!
