    Self taught. Painted portraits for friends and family, ran a Sign writing business until assassinated by vinyl cutting computers. Various airbrush projects on cars and motor bikes. Now retired from 40 years in engineering and now have time to return to painting. Only looking for enough to cover my material costs with possible beer money as this is my hobby and I do it because I enjoy it, not to make money.(no background of starving in a garret but have had days when I've felt quite peckish) Have started to get interested in copying the old masters especially the pre-raphalite style but will paint anything that catches my eye. Have had some good reviews which is encouraging and will continue to paint until I fall off my perch. If you have a favourite picture or photo that you would like an oil painting of, just give me a shout, I only charge for the cost of materials and if you don't like it then you don't pay.

    This is an absolutely beautiful painting, worth every penny of it's very reasonable price tag. The artist took care to package the painting so that it wasn't damaged in transit. It came with a certificate of authenticity. I would definitely recommend buying from this artist and store again.

    Very poor quality artwork. The onew sent from overseas I'd thoroughly fake and lacks any quality of art. Waste of money and time

    One picture was an oil on canvass of rabbits, which my grand daughters love. The second picture was a still life of a lily. I love original art rather than prints.

    Both pictures I bought came within days, well-packaged and as advertised on the web site. So well-packaged I reckon you could have thrown both packages off a cliff and they would still have been intact..
    Will certainly buy again if I see anything I like.

    I absolutely love this painting!!! It is so beautiful! It has lovely pastel colouring and wonderful texturing. The sea and the rock is so realistic, and the background mist is excellent! Wow! Thank you Chris! Pure pleasure on canvas. My 2nd purchase from Chris.
