Approach To Bla Bheinn

in Oil by Derek Young 2 Artist Reviews
10 monthly payments of £32.00 0% APR
The foreground of the painting is abstract and the various marks and random colour effects suggest a section of the steep walk in to the mountain. Bla Bheinn (pron Blaven) has a very distinctive outline so this is rendered accurately. The dark sky is intended to suggest a passing rain storm and is in keeping with the waterfall and rivuletes suggested in the foreground. The painting is behind glass and is framed by a double mount of Antique White mountboard. The frame itself uses dark stained moulding.
