And the sky turned pink - Floating Iridescent Painting
Inspired by digital technologies such as moving image and slow motion, this fashion painting morphs elements of photography, digital art and traditional painting. It represent at the same time a piece of my fashion collection during my fashion design studies The artwork is created digitally and manually, with Adobe design software, acrylic and iridescent medium. Depending on the incidence of light, the colours seems to change and to move. The picture is a hybrid of digital and painting techniques. It is indeed a mixed media artwork.
Digital art & iridescent medium, acrylic on Hahnemuehle Photo Rag. Mounted on alu dibond board 2 mm, wih aluminium subframe. Including hooks. Ready for hanging.
Through the subframe on the backside of the artwork, the hanging is not visible when the picture is installed on the wall. Therefore the picture has a floating effect.
