Along the warren, Polperro

I was born and grew up in Polperro, a small fishing village in Cornwall. This view is looking across the harbour to The Warren, a narrow street which follows the harbour with cottages on both sides, the lucky ones looking directly over the sea. Most of these old cottages are made of traditional cobb and white-washed. Their slate roofs wear a covering of lichen which adds some colour to the scene. Small boats ride the tide in the harbour.
This is acrylic on board and is framed in a white-painted rustic wooden frame, strung on the back and ready to hang.
It measures 87cm x 25cm so would look perfect over a bed or a sofa.
I've signed the back and it will be sent with a signed certificate of authenticity, but please let me know if you would like me to sign the front of the painting.
W 87.00 cm x H 25.00 cm

About the Artist
