From a photograph by Edward Curtis circa 1920. The Sarsi Nation (also Tsuu T'ina Nation meaning "a great number of people") were part of the Blackfeet Confederacy originally living in Western Canada near the present day city of Calgary Alberta. I was drawn to facial character of this man that reflects a quiet wisdom and the spirit of his people.
