Since concentrating on my range of Western artwork, I have been in contact with many people who have Native American Indian heritage. All, without exception are very proud of the fact and have an interest in the culture of their ancestors. So this portrait represents a modern girl but with obvious native american connections. I've used Prismacolor pencils on Bristol board for this intensely coloured piece. It will be presented double mounted with charcoal black over misty grey and framed to a total size of 18.5 x 22.5 inches in a chunky thick flat natural ash frame, ready to hang. Please note that the reds used in this artwork are not quite so orange and a bit darker than those reproduced here, but difficult to photograph accurately.
