Information Sunset over the Broads. Reed heads bob in the gentle breeze, dandelion seeds disperse perhaps confirming to the geese flying overhead that it's time to go. Painted with watercolour onto archival watercolour canvas with a hardboard core. The very fine canvas texture gives an entirely different effect to standard watercolour on paper, almost like an oil painting but retaining the lightness and translucence associated with watercolour. This painting has been sealed, mounted in white then framed behind glass using a flat natural ash moulding giving a total size of 24.5 inches x 28.5 inches.
