The sunlit rocky beach and the cool cliffs in shadow make a striking contrast which makes this artwork so interesting to look at as well as paint.I like to play with light and atmosphere and this subject gave me the ideal opportunity.The sides are painted and the box canvas is 1 1/2 inches deep.
