 "..the romantic, heroic associations with technology and its landscape, so prevalent in the past, may have eroded in recent times; a realisation of the significance of the moment perhaps?" ...Robert Lewis is currently a Liverpool based sculptor working mostly in metals, resins, found objects and whatever else seems appropriate to the work in hand. Robert studied for five years at the Kent Institute of Art and Design in Canterbury and Maidstone having first trained in engineering as a teenager. He has exhibited for many years in solo and open exhibitions and festivals, has produced ‘sound art’ for many projects and has work in private collections around the world.
