 Working out of his studio on the Suffolk coast, UK artist Peter Williams expresses himself using a broad spectrum of media including graphite pencil, charcoal and pastel. However he is best known for watercolour, pushing the boundaries and achieving a unique vibrancy unequalled by many other watercolourists.
His wide portfolio of subject matter includes traditional landscape, seascape, wildlife, portraiture and highly detailed illustration as well as Western.
Entirely self taught he has always had immense interest in the great outdoors, animals, wildlife and particularly horses. Coupled with his ability to paint portraiture, it was a natural progression to begin producing Western and Native American images which have become highly sought after in recent times, particularly in America and Canada.
