| I am a self taught artist who started painting for fun in 1990. In my work within Social Services in the early 90s I found myself initially supporting and then teaching art to a group of older people. Through this I developed my own artistic skills and started trying out different materials and styles.
In the past few years I have looked at art as more than "fun" and have taken to working at painting with more relish and vigour. This has resulted in producing more commercially viable work. I have now decided to concentrate on my art professionally. I have worked with various mediums finally settling on acrylics as the main material of choice. As far as inspiration- I let my imagination take over. |
