Since my years at art college I have always been interested in painting and drawing. Having a career as a successful freelance graphic designer, and Mum, meant I had little time to indulge that interest. However in the last year I joined a local art group which revived my passion for painting.
I find inspiration in natural forms - plants, leaves, flowers, fruit and vegetables - painting their wonderful colours and textures can keep me engrossed for hours. Most of my paintings are based on photographs that I take myself.
