 Despite no formal training, John Lacoux has enjoyed a successful full-time career as a professional painter for 35 years. He Enjoys painting in France, Venice, Scotland, Kent and Sussex covering a wide subject matter including Churches, Cathedrals, Castles, Landscapes, Near Abstracts and The Sea.
Group shows include The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, Royal Portrait Society, Business Art Galleries Burlington House, South London Art Group and he has had many one-man shows throughout the country including London; at The Trafford and Madden Galleries.
His work can be found in many private collections in Britain, Europe and USA and in public companies such as Shell, Reed International, Distillers, Prudential Bache etc.
