I am a new media fine artist and photographer, living and working in Bath. I retired from my post as a professor of political science at Warwick University in 2006, and moved to Bath in order to become a full time artist.
My limited edition fine art archive prints are in private collections across the globe, and my works have been used in a number of printed publications and in a recent art-house movie in the US.
My work ranges widely from portraits and landscape pieces, to abstract, surrealist and conceptual works.
My artwork is highly eclectic ranging widely in styles and subjects, but is tied together by various themes and interests, including: psychology, the boundary between abstraction and representation, the architecture of the built and the natural environments and the human form (including portraits) and in addition, memories of human conflict and suffering.
The key styles I employ in my work (photo and painterly realism aside) are abstraction, surrealism, cubism, expressionism and conceptualism.
Limited edition fine art archive quality Giclée prints of my works are available exclusively here as 12x18" (30x46cm) Archive quality Giclée prints in limited editions of 5 at £50 each. Prices include postage and packing.
