My commitment to art has been lifelong. I won a local art competition at age 8, a regional one at age 16 and an international competition someyears later. At art college I trained as a graphic designer at Bristol and London College of Printing.
I have produced illustration work for promotional print and design, books,packaging and greetings cards. Some illustration work has been seen widely, with distribution, in some cases to more than 22 different countries.
I have always drawn and painted pictures for myself and have over a long period, sold paintings through private commissions or through exhibition.
My preferred media are watercolours and acrylics although recently I
have enjoyed working in oils.
Much of my artwork has a conceptual element to it and often there is an underlying sense of humour as well.
