I am a self taught artist and I live in Greenock, Inverclyde.
I have been drawing and painting for 27 years and I have created many forms of art, of various subject matter and medium. I especially love to draw and paint portraits of people and animals, trying to capture that little personal trait that is unique to the individual character, that little spark of life that brings the art to life.
I have had a great deal of success exhibiting in shared exhibitions in and around the Strathclyde area.
Over the last 5 years I have been commissioned by Strathclyde fire and Rescue Service in the production of two paintings to raise money for the Fire Services National Benevolent Fund. The first painting to commemorate 25 years of the Service and second to commemorate the transition from Strathclyde Fire Brigade to Strathclyde Fire and Rescue Service. These paintings now proudly hang in their headquarters in Hamilton.
